Show Tuesday, October 30 Dr & I attended Community Concert Kenneth Spencer Basso gave a very fine programme. Have spent this afternoon baking pies & cookies for Myrene. She has no help & there is lots to do for eight in one family Sold several D.U.P. Books Wednesday, October 31 Sent for Xmas gifts for grand children ten of them pencil sets with name on sent card for Charles birthday Junior 7 Blanch also Cleone called for awhile. Recd letter from Cloteel saying how much she enjoyed her visite home also that Thair would be leaving the Sein Sec for Frankfort Germany when he moves hopes to come home in Dec. Thursday, November 1 Have taken out Memorial cards at 5.00 each for Utah Pioneers as follows Emily Phelps Merrill my G. Grandmother. Emily Almira Huntsman Merrill my grandmother. Charles Coulsen Rich father of Edward I Rich. Nancy ONiel Rich grandmother of Edward I. Rich. Dudley Justin Merrill grandfather of Almira Cozzens Rich Friday, November 2 Myrene expected to take a trip with Joe & start this A.M. Was greatly dissapointed. She came down & thinks she will go without him. My sister, Martha L. Parluner (dau of Aunt Jane) called with her husband I had not seen her in more than 60 yrs as she has lived very far from me always. I only remembered her as a little girl if at all. She seems a very nice women. Ezra & Gladys Rich had duck dinner with us. They expect to go to Calif for the winter next week. Junior has been in today he brought us 4 nice ducks he got 25 yesterday. A good school. |
