Staff MEDICAL TECHNOLOGY it Weber College offers a Medical Technology program in the Department of Bacteriology and Public Health which enables students to earn their bachelors' degrees and to meet entrance requirements of the Registry of Medical Technologists of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists. The program requires three years of college training followed by one year in an approved hospital-administered school of medical technology (12-month training period). A total of 135 quarter hours of credit selected from courses in bacteriology, anatomy, zoology, embryology, physiology, chemistry, mathematics, and physics will be required to enter a hospital- conducted school for medical technologists. Two such schools are located adjacent to the Weber College campusthe Thomas D. Dee Memorial Hospital School of Medical Technology and a similar one at St. Benedict's Hospital.
