The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins. |

Show Wednesday, February 24. A beautiful day the snow is melting fast. Made buck wheat cakes for breakfast. After doing up the house work I did 22 pieces of underware for Dr and me in my small washing machine which I keep in the bathroom. Prepared a hot lunch for Dr, Glee & Junior came in later and had lunch. At two oclock I went to the Library to hear Constance Bunnell review two books. Mrs Jane Peery Taylors mother came to see me. She is here from Cal. She has been with Mary & says she is so much better in health tho lonesome quite alot. Thursday, February 25. House work as usual. After lunch I attended D.U.P. annual meeting. Not so good as others have been. Camp Z won 5.00 prize for having the greatest number of its Camp members in Pioneer costum also a 5.00 for selling more tickets than any other camp for Pioneer Ball held this month. Ida Treeseder and I walked home togather. This evening Dr & I went to see Romeo and Juliet a picture in which Norma Sheaves and Leslie Howard were wonderful in their parts. Dr & I called at Ed Brownings home this A.M. his wife Mary Jones died. We also went to the funeral service. Very nice. Geo Browning & Fred Taylor were speakers. |
