Show Saturday, March 20. Send Oertels quilt today for her birthday. In New London, Texas 425 school children were killed in a school where gas flues were defective. A spark set up pent up mass, Heart rendering scenes are enacted as parents try to identify their own. Sunday, March 21. Dr and I had dinner with Bro & Sister Elias Neilsons. I attended Sunday School. This evening I attended Relief Society Conference in the 5 Ward. Monday, March 22. Today I put on a quilt for Cleones birthday. Mrs Nielsen helped me & we have worked all day on it. Hattie Smith came to stay with us for awhile. She is not well & is 80 yr old. I shall do all I can for her she is a smart dear old lady. Dr read this evening while I worked on my alfigan. |
