Show Tuesday, July 20. Dr Means & family went to Binghams with Royal and some of his family. I have had a buisy day cleaning up the house and preparing for a family dinner for the Means family. I served fifteen in all. Had trout baked in cream also some fried in butter and for Dr Means one boiled with drawn butter. Made hot rolls, served green corn & ice salad made of fresh fruit. Joe, Junior & Blanch were not here, of those who live here. Maren & Cleone served. Wednesday, July 21. Very warm. We had breakfast about 9 A.M. Dr had his earlier. Dr means and family prepare to start home. Junior called to take them thro his new home. Myrene also called & they saw hers in the building. They finaly started by 11 A.M. We have enjoyed their visite with us very much. They are fine people and we are glad to have them as our friends. After they left I put up fruit until 7 P.M. apricot jam & 13 qts fresh also six qts of black currants Myrelle helped me pick them over. |
