Show Monday, December 27. Beautiful day. I have spent today rearranging and cleaning our home. This evening Dr & I attended an Oratorio The Messiah directed by Lester Hinchcliff The Ogden Tabernacle Choir and the Soloists were Lillian Eastman (Local) Soprano, Ruby McQuarrie contralto one an Ogden girl now of N.Y. John Parrish Tenor an Utah man and Alexander Kisselburg, Baritone. The orchestra was made up of Salt Lake and some Ogden people. Cleone Rich Eccles was one of first viotinists. Dr was one of the sponsers. Myrene & Joe were out to a dinner party and Junior and Blanch at Clark Riches party. Tuesday, December 28. Sunshine & warm Beautiful Fall day. I have called on two of my dear friends this afternoon. Martha and Elizabeth. Have written in this diary some as I was behind. Paid all bills for this year. Dr and I called at Myrenes this evening to see Eloise and her husband Mr & Mrs Fredrick Mathews (Joes sister) who are visiting here. We retired at 11 P.M. |
