Show Tuesday, May 4. Taylor and Mary saw me of on the train at 8 AM from San Francisco. I took Ferry to Oakland & then train. See no on I know but am very comfortable. Sacrament at eleven O.K. Read some and enjoyed seeing the beautiful flowers, trees and country enjoyed the day and retired early. Have had a wonderful rest from house work and public work. Mary an dTaylor did all possiable to make my visite pleasant. David has been so dear is a lovly child so glad to have been there. Wednesday, May 5. Ogden. I arrived home from California at 730 A.M. Dr met me at the train. I found a nice surprise awaiting me. He had all the housecleaning done. Had papered the East room upstairs the Hall down stairs Kitchen & Bath rooms painted new blinds in front rooms etc. I surely appreciate having it done so nice. Have done but little other than getting unpacked and and preparing meals. So nice to be home and find all well. |
