Show Friday, April 16. Had a good rest and arose from bed about 7 A.M. had breakfast on the train arrived in San Francisco about nine oclock. Taylor & Mary met me. Mary and I spent until three P.M. in the City looking around the shops. Drove out to San Mateo met Taylor and drove out to Palo Alto to look at real estate as they are expecting to buy a place & build a home. Mary looks fine has good help and they have a very nice Apt. Davis is a fine boy & looks so well. Saturday, April 17. San Mateo Cal. I slept late. After lunch Taylor took us out to see property again. It is so beautiful every where if one had the means to buy there are very many fine lots for sale but very high were one would rather locate. Wrote Dr. Retire early. Sunday, April 18. We all went to Sunday School. Came home had a nice chicken dinner and drove over to Palo Alto. Called on Taylors Sister Mrs Collins. I did some writing. |
