Show Saturday, November 13. Lovly weather. Have had a buisy day at home. Cleone & I went to a Tea given by Mrs Karl Hopkins and daughter, for her sons bride to be. A letter from Avon. Sunday, November 14. Dr and I went to Sunday School. Dr gave a good lesson Sub. Tobacco. I prepared a good dinner. We ate alone. Rupert Knowles called I went with him and Gladys to see Myrenes home, Royal, Cleone & Myrene spent awhile here this evening. Monday, November 15. Spent most of the morning getting meals and telephoning. Dr said I had an excellent dinner. At two P.M. I attended board meeting of Daughters of Pioneers. Had a new combination lock but on the D.U.P. Safe given to the organisation by W.H. Wright & Sons had a nice letter from Oertel also one from my nephew Dorr who is in the East. Dr & I Read until 11 P.M. |
