During that time she documented her personal life and the medical practice of Edward, the community of Ogden and national events such as the outbreaks of WWI and WWII. The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins. |

Show Friday, April 23. San Mateo. A cool night have been sleeping with two heavy wool blankets over me & last night added a wool alfigan. Mary and I met Mrs Jane Peery Taylors mother at her hotel in San Francisco had lunch togather and then visited furniture & art stores. Went through several trailers. We we all quiteenthused over them. Taylor met us and drove the car home. A letter from Dr. saying all are OK. at home. Ezra had been ill with heavy cold but had gone home from the hospital. Have been here one week today. Saturday, April 24. San Mateo. Mary & I met Taylor in S.F and spent the afternoon across the Bay looking at places for sale. Met Mr & Mrs Pat Burns & had Tea with them at their attractive home built high on the hill. Sunday, April 25. San Mateo. At 8 P.M. Taylor, Mary, David & I started for Oakdale to visite Avon on their Ranch. A 200 mi drive there & back. A beautiful ride. We all enjoyed the day. Wrote to Myrene. |
