Show Tuesday, September 7. I did some writing wrote Mrs Amy Evans on some Social Work she ask me about & sent reply by special delevry. Called to see Mrs Christ J Brown whos son in law just passed away, also attended the funeral this afternoon which ws held on the town at the Brown home. he was Evas husband. Have my correspondence written up except to Mrs Ally Pond & Annie Petty must write them soon. Yesterday I wrote an 8 page letter to my sister Lucile in N.Y. Wednesday, September 8. Some rain. Cooler today. Today I have put up two bu of tomatoes and out of this I had 31 qts of tomato juice & 9 qts of fresh tomatoes. Dr put the caps on the juice for me this evening. He is now at the Hospital with a confinement case. Had a letter from Thair saying the will leave Camp Peery for Kentucky and start for home about 15 of Sept. Recd. |
