Show PURCHASED CLOTHESLINE He also sent Olive Everett to a store to purchase a clothesline. The three girls were garroted with clothesline rope before they were attacked and slain. Eddie was said to have shown the children how to tie sailors knots with the clothesline. Joining in the coast wide search were police and sheriffs of all Pacific slope centers, with federal agents standing by to enter the case in event it is learned the suspected car has crossed state lines. The three bodies were found in a ravine late Monday by four Boy Scouts, members of a searching party of 1,000 men and boys which included federal agents, sheriffs, police and civilians, among whom were 200 Legionnaires. |
