Show Friday, December 12. Beautiful day about 50. Mother had Acacia Club of 16 members here today nice party. I visited Dr Morrell during party and came home just in time to see all the ladies. This evening I went over to Bp JA Shaias to a Committee meeting on meeting house. Retire early. Saturday, December 13. Nice day. I have been home all day. Wrote to Mary and Avon and have read some. Nothing special. Dr Jr called this evening. Sent few xmas cards. Standard Dec 13 No One Injured in 2 Car Wreck. Neither driver was hurt when two autos collided at Harrison Boulevard and 30 Street at 340 pm yesterday, according to police reports. Drivers were Dr. Edward I Rich, 84, of 2624 Taylor Ave and John J Malouf, 20 of 218 26 th St. Traffic Officer Tim H Dyer said four witnesses reported the Rich sedan, going north on Harrison, allegedly ran a red light and ran into the read of the west board Malouf sedan. After the collision, the Rich sedan skidded 15 feet sideways and the Malouf car 20 feet sideways, the officer said. Damage to the Rich auto was placed at 250, and to the Malouf car at 100. Officer Dyer said Malouf was expected to sign a complain charging Dr Rich with running a red light, today. Monday, December 15. Nice day. I went down to see about repairing car from injury in yesterdays collision. Myra, Myrene & I went to see about geanelogical charts at Woodys. Have read some and have written some xmas cards. Retire early. Recd a lot of xmas cards from friends. |
