During that time she documented her personal life and the medical practice of Edward, the community of Ogden and national events such as the outbreaks of WWI and WWII. The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins. |

Show Utah Congratulates Three Young Leaders. What are the makings of greatness? The Junior Chambers of Commerce of Utah Saturday night honored three young men as the states most outstanding men of the 21-35 age group during 1951. Named were E. Lamar Buckner of Ogden, Clifford E. Young Jr. of American Fork, and Nicholas G Morgan Jr of Salt Lake City. What made them that way? Why these three? One is a banker, one an insurance man, another an oil man. No similarity there. But two things are in common in the list of the activities each of these men perofrmed during the past year. those two things are public service and religious activities. Though they are young, just getting a firm grip on the fabric of the business world, none of the three was two busy building wealth and influence that he couldnt find time to serve his fellow men and his God. Is this an ingredient of greatness? |
