During that time she documented her personal life and the medical practice of Edward, the community of Ogden and national events such as the outbreaks of WWI and WWII. The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins. |

Show Standard Aug 31 52. Eastern Trip. Its a hop skip and a jump and presto! You land! Youve gone from one end of the continent to the other! Thats what Mrs. G. Oscar Russell did when she wanted to cover a lot of ground in not too long a space of time. She flew to Tampa Fla to visit her son in law and daughter, Dr and Mrs. Lynn B Crookston (Carol Russell) and daughter Wendy. Then she and Mrs. Crookston flew to Cincinnati to attend the wedding of Mrs. Russells son, Robert rich Russell, and Miss Ellen Clendenin at Oxford, Ohio, which took place Aug 22. The newlyweds are honeymooning at Hemlock Lodge, Ky. and plan to drive to Provo, where Mr. Russeell will resume his studies at the BYU. Mrs. Russell returned to her home and Mrs. Crookston flew back to Tampa. |
