Show Tuesday, January 26. 12 above zero. 500,000 homeless in flood district. Three deaths in Ogden this month from Auto accidents. Wrote to Dora Holther. Mercury in S.L.C. reached lowest level since Jan. 1888 and we have the deepest snow fall in history. I attended funeral service for Bertha Harris, held in 8 Ward Ogden Stake. She was a very good woman and did many fine things. She was a D.U.P. board member. I did some shopping. Had a nice letter form Carol. Dr & I spent eve reading. Junior & Blanch came in for awhile. Cleone called today. Wednesday, January 27. I attended the funeral service of Mrs Malen wife of Lawrence Malen, held in the 17 Ward. Myrene also attended. This evening I heard Mario Silveira a baretone from the Argenteniane also Edna Marine pianist famous in concert playing. I enjoyed both very much.
