Show Friday, April 9. Drs sixty ninth Birthday he is in very good health and spends all of every day, but Sunday, in his office. He reads a great deal and teaches a class in Sunday School. Enjoys going out and is interested in life generally. All the children remembered him with letters and gifts. Avon & family came down this afternoon and June came this evening. I prepared a family dinner. Junior, Blanch, Myrene, Cleone, Royal, Avon, Myrelle ( who is nine today also) Dr & I at table. Spend a pleasant evening togather. Avons maid and Glee, my nephew did the serving & dinner work. Saturday, April 10. Avon & family here, they had dinner with Myrene & Joe. I attended a party given for Betty Gunnell at Ben Loman given by Mrs Trover. Have had a buisy day. Sunday, April 11. Dr and I attended church at 18 Ward. Adam S Benion was the speaker. I cooked turkey dinner for nine also made ice cream. June & Avon decided o stay another night. We have enjoyed their visite. Their children are always so happy to come. |
