Show Wednesday, June 2. Have had a buisy day. Cooked trout for lunch. Joe sent them. Very nice. Attended the funeral service of Elizabeth Ellis Shorten. Dr spoke. He has been the Dr of their family forty years. Called to see Sister Electa Brown whos son Clyde dropped dead while at his work. She is a dear friend also. At five P.M. Elizabeth Thomas and I attended a party at the home of Mrs Fred Nye. Mr Phillips has painted here all day. Thursday, June 3. Junior flew to San Francisco today left here at 6 A.M. arrived at 10 A.M. Avon, Donald Cozzens my nephew and his wife came down from Cokeville. Dr loaned Donald 1600.00 to set up a grocery store. He was very kind to do it as he owes the Bank him self and I sometimes wonder if we shall ever be free from debt. I wrote a long letter to my sister Lucile in N.Y. Prepared dinner for Avon and the others after eating they drove to Salt Lake & came back late. Dr Junior & Blanch and I went up to see the new home they have bought. Dr thinks it a fine home & a good buy at 1900.00. Junior came in this evening Avon, Donald & Grace stayed all night. Mr Phillips has painted all week. Went down town to buy some curtains. |
