Show Saturday, July 10. Have spent most of the day cleaning and getting my home in order for Company. Dr Russell Means and wife & three children will be our house guests for a week or more. We consider him a fine friend as he treated Mary for six mo. and was wonderful to her while she was in Columbus Ohio. Sunday, July 11. Dr went to Sunday School. The Means family arrived late this afternoon. If I remember correctly I am writing this a month or more later so may be mistaken. Monday, July 12. We spent today with the Means family and like them very much as I am recording their stay two months later shall just write as I remember in general. We took them to Salt Lake the girls Cleone & children & Myrene met us out at Black Rock. We all enjoyed a bath in the lake and then had basket lunch. Another day Dr & Mrs Means & Russell Jr. went for an Airplane ride with Junior. He took them over the Lake and over Bingham Canon. |
