Show Tuesday, November 9. This afternoon Mrs Treseder Mrs Larkin and I called on Maurice. Have on buisness of history of Utah etc. He is the chairman of the Federal writing project for the State. Their work is very interesting and we feel our contact the may do some good for our D.U.P. organization. Ida & I went to a lecture in Weber College by a U of U man on neutrality. Dr and I read late this evening after a nice chicken dinner with Blanch & Junior at their home. Wednesday, November 10. J.C. Penneys Co moved into their new quarters the W.H. Wright & Sons Building. They have remodeled it some and have very fine quarters. Dr bought me a lovly 95 piece china dinner set it isbeautiful for the price 29.50 on sale for 15.00. One likes a change in dishes when one is kitchen maid all the time. Dr has gone to a Medical Staff meeting. Dr Junior, Joe Brewer, George Shupe and Chonet Brewer have gone to hunt Elk for a few days. |
