Show ties. The rock collections, consisting of more than 300 specimens, are arranged to show rock types and localities. College Bookstore and Visual Aids DepartmentThe College Bookstore, located on the ground floor of the Union Building, is the source for all college text books and supplies. The bookstore will be open from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. daily Monday through Fri- day. The evening hours will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday and Tuesday of each week. During the first two weeks of the quarter the bookstore is open from 8 a.m. until 9 p.m., Monday through Thursday. The Visual Aids Department is located in the College Book-store. Equipment and films for visual aids may be obtained from the bookstore during regular hours. All film rentals will be processed by the Visual Aids Department. Film information and catalogues are available for the use of instructors and students. Stores DepartmentThe Stores Department is located in the Stores Building on the upper campus. Courses numbered 010 through 099 are terminal courses that ordinarily do not satisfy baccalaureate requirements. Courses numbered 90-99 and 190-199 are workshops, field trips, etc. Courses numbered from 1 through 99 are Lower Division courses usually taken either during the Freshman or Sophomore year. Courses numbered 100 through 199 are Upper Division courses usually taken either during the Junior or Senior year. Abbreviations UsedThe following abbreviations are used throughout this catalog: A, Autumn Quarter; W, Winter Quarter; S, Spring Quarter; Su, Summer Quarter. A figure in parentheses (3) means the number of quarter hours allowed for a given course. |
