Show Machine Tool 62,63 Inspection Processes 3 3 Humanities Selected 3 Electives 2 2 17 16 17 MACHINE TOOL TECHNICIAN MAJOR (Example Only) This curriculum is offered to students who desire a major in the field of machine tool technology. Included are laboratory experiences and study of technical subjects to achieve competency in machine tool work, manufacturing processes; fabrication, production and tooling. The intent of this course is to prepare students for employment of a technical nature in industry. Upon completing the machine tool technician program a student will graduate with a certificate of completion. For those who wish a four-year program, many of the courses may be used toward the achievement of a B.S. degree in Tool and Manufacturing Engineering Technology. TOOL AND MANUFACTURING ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY MAJOR (Example Only) The Tool and Manufacturing Engineering Technology curriculum is designed for the student who desires to continue his education toward a B.S. degree. In general, a student who has completed the two-year technician program may complete his work by continuing his Junior and Senior year as described below. It will be necessary for him to counsel with an adviser.
