During that time she documented her personal life and the medical practice of Edward, the community of Ogden and national events such as the outbreaks of WWI and WWII. The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins. |

Show First KissErnest Ole Lindquist, 62, freed on parole from the Fort Madison, la. penitentiary, gets a big smacker from his bride to be, Mrs. Addie Jackson in her Indianola, la., home. Also awaiting Ole, who served 43 years of a life term for murder, was a chicken dinner prepared by the wealthy 67 year old widow. She met the once forgotten man of the Iowa state prison after officials revealed in 1949 that Ole hadn't received a letter in 30 years. Mrs. Jackson was one of the first to write. She later began monthly visits to the prison and romance followed. |
