Show URGES CITY TO AID O. H. S. BAND 4-13-26 Payment In Advance for Summer Concerts Suggested An appeal was made today to the city commissioners by A. M. Merrill, principal of the Ogden High school, that the city aid in raising the sum necessary to send the high school band to the national contest in Gary, Ind., during May. Mr. Merrill explained that while he city may not be able legally to contribute money to the fund, he uggested that the band be enaged to play summer concerts and he money paid in advance so the and would have the sum before it eft for the east. No action was taken in the matter by the city today. |
