We do not have too much time, for the Castros and the Communists can find all too ready acceptance in countries where per capita food production is less than it was 20 years ago, where economic development is not keeping full pace with population increases, where poverty and ignorance is widespread, and where local capital generation is insufficient to get the job done. It behooves the wealthy South Americans, as well as ourselves, to work together quickly and intelligently to save this area for democratic free enterprise. We cannot afford to do otherwise.
