Our key operating people are relatively young, none of them yet being in their sixties and a substantial number still in their forties. They have already had considerable experience in their work and have demonstrated their competence. In many ways we have better tools to work with now than we have had in the past a strengthened financial structurea stream of assured future earnings already established through forward sales of mining output to strong buyersadded versatility of skills in the mining, land development, and construction fieldsa momentum and a reputation that tends to bring more deals to our door rather than our having to seek them. Any company today and particularly a company in the international field is subject to devel-opments in its external environment that it cannot control, but within this limitation we in Utah Construction & Mining Co. approach the future with quiet confidencethe kind of confidence that stems from a blend of the heavy construction man's willingness to tackle the impossible and the financial man's desire to profit in the process.
