Show CARD #5 - Page 2 and the disposal of certain of our real estate investments. Construction remains the question now. The project that caused us such substantial losses the last 2 years was the Round Butte Dam in Oregon and this is now completed. However, we are experiencing difficulty on a large tunnel contract in New Zealand, and the nature and extent of this loss cannot be determined accurately at this time. The problem here is unique in our experience, for the ground is good and the bid prices satisfactory. However, we have experienced a continuing shortage of labor and a lack of productivity on the part of the labor we have been able to obtain, with the result that we are way behind schedule. Despite intensive recruitment in both New Zealand and Australia, we have never yet been able to man the job sufficiently to sustain the rate of progress that we must have to break even.
