Show 5. Navajo Coal - with possible additional production 6. 1 million tons of coal beginning in 1974 at a capital cost of $26 million. In authorizing new projects the Board of Directors looks for a discounted cash flow return after tax of 15% or better, and the projects listed above should equal or exceed in this objective. If we can bring these expansion plans to pass on schedule, they will, taken together with the growth in profits from projects already under way, carry our earnings in the future to substantially improved levels. The chart which I show you now is our own "in house" estimate of the range of future profits that we would expect from this program. It speaks more eloquently than I can for why we in Utah Construction & Mining Co. are excited about the future opportunities for our company.
