College of Applied Science and Technology 67 Advisement All General Technology students are required to meet with the College of Applied Science & Technology academic advisor before entering the program to establish a program contract plan. Students will also be required to meet with the advisor at least annually for ongoing course and program advisement. Admission Requirements Regular university admission requirements and a completed 900 hour minimum approved technical specialty certificate from OWATC or DATC awarded within 5 years of beginning the AAS program. Students meeting this requirement will receive 30 hours of transfer elective credit toward an AAS in General Technology degree upon completion of all WSU graduation requirements for the AAS in General Technology. Approval by the College of Applied Science and Technology at Weber State University is required.
