Show College of Science 597 • Credit Hour Requirements: This major requires 120-124 credit hours. The student must also complete requirements for a secondary education license as determined by the Jerry and Vicki Moyes College of Education. Zoology (BS) • Program Prerequisite: Not required. • Minor: Required. • Grade Requirements: Zoology majors must have an average GPA of 2.00 or higher. Students are required to earn a grade of "C-" in each prerequisite course before taking the next course. Zoology majors must have a grade of "C-" or better in all courses that satisfy specific requirements for the major. • Credit Hour Requirements: A total of 120 credit hours are required for graduation; 40 of these are required within Zoology. A total of 40 upper division hours are required (courses number 3000 and above); 32 of these are required within the major. Advisement All Zoology students are encouraged to meet with a faculty advisor at least annually for course and program advisement. The department secretary can also assist students.
