Goodfellow, Fifth Street, keeps a well stocked bar, which is well attended to. He also runs a lunch department, where first- class viands are set before the caller at short notice. It is the first establishment of the kind one meets coming from the depot, furniture dealers. Boyle & Co., East side of Main Street, new brick block, have a very large and well selected stock, plain, elegant and medium, the prices of which cannot be beaten in Utah. James Gale, west side Main Street, does an extensive business in general furniture. Like Mr. Boyle he was "burned out" on the 4th of last July, but both are on their feet again and prospering. Mr. Gale is one of our oldest citizens, and stands deservedly high. hotels. The Keeney House, at the Depot, is one of the most commodious and best appointed houses in this part of the country. The prices are always low, the accommodations first-class, and the establish¬ment is so close to the stopping place of all trains that passengers find it convenient to call in and be refreshed before proceeding on¬ward. An excellent bar on the premises. The Commercial Hotel is the best and largest up-town hostelry in Ogden. It is justly celebrated for setting the best tables in the country; everything is neat, clean and orderly, and prices low. P, A, McPhee, Proprietor, shoemakers. E. J. Watkins, Fifth Street, is one of the most enterprising'and liberal tradesmen in Ogden. His work, is always done promptly and well. J. M. D. Taylor, Fifth Street, makes a specialty of fine boot and shoe making, but is also prepared to do coarse work and everything else pertaining to the trade.
