Junior and Senior High Summer School June 18 ~ July 27, 1973 Courses will be offered in three classifications (1) make-up credit -- 1/4 credit is only available at Mount Ogden Junior High School; (2) new credit; A six-week Summer School will be conducted at Highland Junior High School and Mount Ogden (3) enrichment Junior High School. REGISTRATION INFORMATION Other specialized instruc- tion will be offered at designated secondary schools. Students from Ogden High School, Central and Washington Junior High Schools will attend summer school at Mount Ogden Junior High School. Students from Mound Fort Junior High School and Ben Lomond High School will attend summer school at Highland Junior High School. All classes for make-up credit will be conducted at Mount Ogden Junior High School and Highland Junior High School. Summer School will begin Monday, June 18 and close Friday, July 27. Most classes will be held during the morning hours from 8 a.m, to 12 noon, Mondays through Fridays. If registration demand is sufficient, late afternoon and evening classes will be scheduled. FEES: The fee for summer school will be as follows if you attend a total of; hours $2.00 61-90 hours $12.00 16-30 hours 31- 60 hours 1-15 $4.00 $8.00 91- $15ya0 120hrs. courses without credit. Registration will be conducted in each school in the District, and the registration fee must be paid at the time of registration. The final registration date for students who desire make-up work will be June 15 from 8 a.m, to 12 noon, After May 31, students must register at the school they will attend. Registration for courses added after this pamphlet's printing will be accomplished at the time of the final registration. Registration for the summer swimming program will take place at Ben Lomond High School and Ogden High School. ‘This program will be conducted by the Ogden City Corporation. Students who are participating in the evening band program for one night a week will not be required to pay the regular summer school fee. Where applicable, $5.00 transportation fee for field trips will be charged. Registration of students for new and enrichment classes in summer school is to be completed by May 25. ATTENDANCE POLICY When students miss a make-up class five 17: two classes at 7 a.m. MINI COURSES is sufficient, four merit badge classes will be taught per week at Highland and Mount Ogden Junior High Schools. Each class will be five hours in duration and will be held hourly between 8 a.m, and 12 noon. After registration, a class schedule indicating times and instructors will be developed.
