It will be the second year of operation as a four-year institution. It will be the first year during which student residence halls will be in use. It will also be the first year of use for the first phase of the auditorium-fine arts building. During the 1964-65 year construction should be completed on the second phase of the fine arts center. This phase, to cost $1,000,000, will include the addition of a theatre to the auditorium and also a separate art building. During the year construction work on the new library building, to cost $1,500,000, should be nearing completion. As the enrollment of the college has increased, many additions have been made to the faculty. Our faculty members have earned advanced degrees from the major universities of the country. The academic quality of our faculty is high. These highly-trained professional individuals offer superior educational opportunities to those who attend. This catalog describes the educational opportunities offered by the college during the 1964-65 school year. I trust that those who attend will find these opportunities to be challenging and of such a quality that the educational purposes of the college will be achieved. WILLIAM P. MILLER President 11 |
