Show pital has clinical facilities available in medical, surgical, psychiatric, pediatric, orthopedic, emergency, and intensive care nursing. Opportunity is provided for the student to recognize and solve nursing problems either individually or as a member of the health team and to become aware of responsibilities in the nursing profession. 35. Operating Room TechniquesThis course is designed for graduate nurses to give theory and practical experience in the operating rooms. There are certain advantages, such as additional background and experience. If the fourth year is elected, courses should be chosen under the guidance of an adviser. It is recommended that courses be chosen to fill these requirements which require extensive reading, such as literature, and which give the student as much background information as possible for medicine.
