Show ELECTRONICS TECHNICAL MAJOR (Example Only) The curriculum for electronic technician prepares the student for employment at the end of two years of training as a technician in the field of electronics. If the student wishes to qualify for an AS Degree, he should consult with the department head. Many of the courses completed by the technician may be used toward the B.S. Degree. Degree. 304 In general, a student who has completed the two-year technician program may complete his work by continuing his junior and senior year as described below. It will be necessary for him to counsel with an advisor. A lower division grade point average of 2.25 or better or permission by the department head is required to enter upper division courses.
