Show The Community Services Department organized a Sub for Santa drive for needy residents of the city. Names of families in need were requested, as well as help and donations for the project. One family in our community had their Christmas brightened through this program. A neighborhood fundraiser was held on Saturday, December 11, 2004, at the Thompsen residence to benefit the community Sub for Santa and the YCC. It was suggested that the money we would spend on our neighbor gifts be donated instead for these causes. Our residents have "done us proud" in their many accomplishments at school, employment, civic involvement, and personal pursuits. From young to old, this has been an outstanding year of achievement, and our congratulations and best wishes go to all who have accomplished so much. |
