A letter to the Editors which appeared in the July 20, 2004, edition of the Standard Examiner, from a nonresident supporter, stated that Mayor Keith Butler should have a voting voice on the sewer district board, inasmuch as the sewer plant is located in our city. A. Glen McFarland, who has served as Magistrate for our city since incorporation, died July 23, 2004, at the age of 78. His willing and able service is greatly appreciated. He will be missed in our community as he has been a contributing member both in civic and ecclesiastical matters. Bits and Pieces Jerry Stanger was in charge of the Pioneer Day's July 24th parade in Ogden. People from throughout the county enjoyed the fine results of his hard work. Halle Anne Willden, daughter of Layne and Aubree Willden, was born July 30, 2004.
