OCR Text	Show Marriott-Slaterville City History October 2018 Construction on Pioneer Road Phase I should begin next week. Bits and Pieces Linda Baldwin Cooper Pitcher, 73, passed away on October 6, 2018. Merlin Buck, 91, passed away on October 22, 2018. Dalton Jax Wheeler, son of Dalton and Treasure Wheeler was born on October 6, 2018. Amanda Jude Bachman, daughter of Ashley Bell, was born on October 15, 2018. Republican Lee Perry, the District 29 rep to the Utah House and Democrat Kerry Wayne from Marriott-Slaterville, are both battling for a seat in the Utah House. Among Perry's priorities is protecting small business interests. Wayne, on the other hand, thinks lawmakers, in general, focus too much on protecting business interests and, related to that, favors the expansion of Medicaid here, granting coverage to a larger pool of those in need.
