For your convenience, dumpsters will be placed at Marriott Park and Slaterville Park from April 21-22. Please put all debris inside the dumpster, not on the ground. This is a complimentary service, please be considerate of others using the dumpster. No tires or hazardous material please. For junk cars, call the City Office at 801-627-1919. Art in April Marriott-Slaterville will host its annual Art in April Show this year on April 13tb and 14tb, from Noon until 6:00 PM, at the Marriott-Slaterille City Senior Center, 1570 West 400 North. The Art Show will highlight some of the amazing talent within the community. We invite all artists, who work in any medium, such as photography to woodwork, to enter the show. Rules and applications are available at the city office. Awards will be given and each exhibitor will have the opportunity to offer their work for sale if they elect to do so. The City Building will be open to visitors on the above days and times to allow residents, guests, and businesses to enjoy the show. Support the Arts in our town and submit your work or just plan to visit the Art in April show! General Burning Regulations The State of Utah issues bum permits. Bum permits are to be obtained online from the Utah Department of Environmental Quality at: http://www.airqualitv.utah.gov/Compliance/OpenBur ning/index.htm. Yard buming requires a valid bum permit issued during the open bum window when the National Weather Service clearing index is 500 or greater. The buming of trash, mbbish, tires, hazardous material, or oil products is not allowed. Certain agriculture and buming of irrigation ditches and fence lines may be allowed at other dates than those provide herein. The spring bum permit window is March 31 to May 30. The fall bum permit period is September 15 to October 30, if approved by the state forester. You cannot obtain a bum permit from the state until the bum window begins.
