Id m 4k Art in Aprfl Show Marriott-Slaterville City Hall 1- Show will be held at the city hall, April 13-14, 2017, from 12 Noon to 6 PM 2- Applications will be available at the city office. 3- Art, with application, should be dropped off no later than Thursday, April f;lh at the close of business at the city offices. No art will be accepted without an application to accompany it. All art must have the owners name attached in a visible location. 4- Art will be picked up no later than close of business day, Tuesday April 16,2017. City is not responsible for art that is abandoned, and is thereby given tacit consent for disposal thereof by any means the city officers deem fit. 5- Artists will sign a hold harmless agreement upon delivery of their art to relieve city officers, volunteers and associate of any liability in the event of damage to their art. 6- Art will be judged by an independent panel; a people's choice award over all shall be given for artists over 15 years of age, and artists 14 and under. Awards shall include, but may not be limited to: a. Best of its medium, for each category: 1. Oils 2. Acrylics and Watecolor 3. Pen, Pencil and Ink 4. Photography or Computer image 5. Sculptural, Textile and 3D 6. Lego creation, (3'x3'x3' size limit) NEW THIS YEAR!! b. Best use of color, (overall) c. Best visual impact, (overall) d. Most humorous e. Most unusual 7- Awards shall be a made at the end of the show, we invite everyone who attends to help select a best of show!
