Show Friday, March 17, 1933. I have been home most of the day as June & Avon are here. Prepared a nice dinner. Junior, June, Avon, & Myrene ate with us. Went down to the R.F.C. Community for two hr this afternoon. Dr is not feeling very well. Margret has gone out to a mutual party. Had a nice letter from Cloteel saying how thankful they were to be in Ventura instead of Los Angeles when the earthquake was one. They like it in Ventura and we are so anxious for Thair to be buisy & think he has a much better chance there. Saturday, March 18, 1933. Went to the Community Welfare to work today. Avon & June are shopping. I prepared dinner after Dr & I went to see a pagent by the 17 Ward members of Priestood put on. June and Avon went up to Strongs. Dr has some cold. Placed of tomotoes and peaches with needy families in our Stake from Community Relief. Dr. had a letter from his sister Mary Ann near 83 yr old and she writes so well and interesting. |
