Show Tues, April 25, 1933. I went to Salt Lake to see Walter Hamden in Caponsacchi at Kingsbury Hall. Very good. Avon and Myrene also Mrs Roberts of Cokeville also went too. We had lunch at Dicks Caf. A nice letter from Drs sister Mary Ann Pomeroy. Thursday, April 27, 1933. I have been buisy all morning cleaning. This afternoon I visited D.U.P at Flora Belnaps. Mrs Halverson a hand cart pioneer to Utah was present. She is now 97 years old if I remember right and gave us a bit of her history. She had worked as a girl in Pres. Brigham Youngs family also the Wells family. Dr and I spend our evenings reading togather. We have just finished Joseph Smith by John H. Evans and enjoyed it very much. |
