Show Thursday, October 5, 1933. Beautiful day. Stayed over nite in S.L.C. with Mae Cozzens. At ten AM attended Officers meeting for Stake & Board membes of the Relief Societies of the Church. Very fine instructions were given out by Pres Louise Y. Robinson & her board members. Advised all to sustain the 18 amendment by their vote each Pres. Was to return home call to their assistance Y L M I A, Y M M, I, A, & Priamary and organize for aquainting the public. The facts of the question and voteing for its retention. Had lunch, met Mae C & attended afternoon session in Tabernacle. Came home with Mrs D R Wheelwright after 2 day away. Sat. October 7, 1933. A beautiful day. Jed improving. We have listened into Conference in S.L.C. part of the day and if we live according to what the Apostles and Leaders say all will be well. Cleaned house some and finished my fruit canning for the season. Spent the evening clipping from news papers. Dr not buisy. Dr has had the roof tarred and gutters cleaned out for winter. Myrene called. Junior & Blanch will go to Chicago tomorrow where he will be made a member of the American College of Surgeons. Also attend several conventions & Century of Progress. |
