Show Saturday, April 8, 1933. Hotel Utah. Dr and I did not get up very early. We had breakfast at hotel and spent the day calling on old friends. Called on Sarah B. Williams. Em Jones and then Mrs Steel whom we found very sick. She will not live long. Visited Andrew Jensens Relic Hall. He is Church Historian. I was a delegate to D.U.P. convention so spent an hr or more there. Mrs. Cordelia Lund was elected Pres. We drove home and arrived before too late. Tired & glad to be home for the drive was very cold and snow froze on the windshield. Sunday, April 9, 1933. Drs Birthday 65 years old. Have enjoyed being home and listening over Radio to Gen. Conference in S.L.C. Dr is sixty five today. Looks fine and is enjoying splendid health. He has recd so many nice gifts & letters from the children. Recd from Mary & Taylor a picture of David taken when 13 weeks old. We are so pleased with it. We had dinner with Joe& Myrene. Dr had a nice letter from Mary. |
