Show Thursday, November 16, 1933. Rayal & Cleone called this eve I was out.Have been home during the day and hoped to get a lot done on Oertels memory book but owing to phone calls & people comming to the house for instance Maud Porter called for a book. Mrs Gaul an old friend and one who did my laundry for many years, called to see me. Calice Mack came to have me sign a letter to help her get a possition. Mrs Ally Pond came to have me go over outline to be printed for teachers and I called Mr Woody about printing them. Did four pages in book, besides cooking & house work. Went over to Weber College to hear Govener Blood on new Relief Plan. Friday, November 17, 1933. Martha Cooley called and spent an hour or more. I have done only one page in Oertels memory book it is slow work. This afternoon I had Mrs Engstrom marclle my hair it takes one hr. I called on Elizabeth Thomas. Dr went to Uintah to set a broken arm. We had a nice turkey dinner for thirty five cts a plate at the Eighteenth Ward. Dr & I went to the Charity Ball held at Berthanna. Junior Blanch, Joe & Myrene entertained friends at dinner at Ben Loman Hotel previous to going to the Ball. |
