Show Sunday, November 12, 1933. Beautiful day. Dr and I read for a couple of hours in bed as we woke up early. I prepared an oven dinner Roast beef etc. this afternoon I attended Relief Society Union meeting. All departments well represented Myrene R Brewer has consented to give Literary lesson in 17 Ward. We had a very good Pres. department. Gave out Red Cross memberships to each Ward to be sold the next ten days 50 of them. Dr & I spent the evening listening to a wonderful programme from New York & Los Angeles, Marie Dressler and others made talks for Welfare Work. Monday, November 13, 1933. Beautiful day. A letter this morning from Mary San Metao saying David had his first cold is now nine mo old. She had been to Porterville with Taylor. Avon wrote that they were all fine a nice letter both made me happy. Dr & I spent evening reading. Ezra and Annie called. I began work on Oertels Memory book. It will be some job but I am very happy in doing it for it brings back happy memories. |
