Friday, May 27, 1955 Attended Meetng of Ogden Surgical Society Very good. Read the account of the death of Obert C Tanners son in Tribune and wrote them a letter of condolence. Very sad auto accident. Grand boy age 17 The second son killed in auto accident and another son died of Polio. Very sad. Oberts Mother was Alice Clark my cousin. Myrene came over this evening. I worked in garden some watering. Saturday, May 28, 1955 Nice day but cool last night Some frost in places. Myrene and Dr Jr called Recd letter from Janath Cannon Saying they would drive up to see us tomorrow Cleone called. Nothing special Cleone and Myrene went to Salt lake to Concert in Tabernacle Sunday, May 29, 1955 Nice day. I attended Priesthood meeting and Sunday School Oertel and I had dinner at Myrenes Ted and Janath Cannon and their four children came up from Salt Lake and we had nice visit Dr Jr, Lynn and Robert called later Oertel and I visited Cemetery and placed flowers on Myras grave Called to Dr Lynn Crookston and Wife and I visited James E Ellison at Dee Hospital. He has fractured hip from Auto accident. He is 82 yrs old and in bad shape Monday May 30, 1955 Decoration day. nice day in a.m. cloudy and little rain n evening. Cemetery looks nice We placed flowers on Myras grave last eveing and this a.m. Oertel drove to Logan to place flowers on Carols grave and took Wendy and Neddie Cannon. I ate dinner at Dr Jrs. Royal and Cleone came up in afternoon and Avon called us on phone from Los Angeles this evening. Have read some and had sleep this afternoon.
