During that time she documented her personal life and the medical practice of Edward, the community of Ogden and national events such as the outbreaks of WWI and WWII. The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins. |

Show Sunday, September 18, 1955 I attended Ward Priesthood Meetg and Sunday School. Had dinner at home with Mary and Oertel. Mary cooked a wonderful dinner and Lucile and John called and Lucile brought a wonderful lemon pie Cleone & Royal called. Also Dr Lynn Crookston and Wendy and Dr Joseph R Morrell and this eveng Patriarch Fred T. Abbott and Bp Austin Shaw called and administered to Oertel good man Some rain this evening. Mary, Oertel and I visited Cemetery and placed flowers on Myras grave and rode up the Canyon as far as Hermitage Retire early tired Monday, September 19, 1955 Nice rain last night Oertel feels much better Myrene has spent the afternoon with us dear girls Mary and I went down to Market. Cleone and Royal called this evening. Bp Le Grande Steward called this evening good man Dr Geo Q Rich called |
