The Salt Lake Tribune, Friday, March 25, 1955 Top Teenagers M. David Merrill, who will be 18 Sunday, is a shutterbug and a talented one. Hes an honor student at Davis High School and editor of the yearbook. Thats where the shutter work comes in. David has taken many of the pictures for the annual with his press camera and then developed and printed them in his darkroom. As a top member of his schools debate squad he has proved himself to be a precise, clear thinking public speaker. David is an Eagle Scout and paid his own way to attend an international jamboree. Now hes a scoutmaster and also a senior life guard in the Red Cross program. Dancing, skiing, tennis and participation in activities of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints all contribute to Davids development as a well rounded, capable teenager. With aspirations of becoming an electrical engineer, David lives in Farmington with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. David Merrill. M. David Merrill Student at Davis High is cameraman. SUP Unit to Hear Illustrated Talk An illustrated lecture on South and Central America will be given by Milton R. Hunter, member of the Council of Seventy, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints, at a dinner meeting of Sugar House Chapter, Sons of Utah Pioneers, Monday at 7 p.m. at the SUP Museum, 3000 Connor St. (2140 East St.).
