Show Sunday, April 2, 1933. Dr & I attended the funeral service for W. Dale Reed who died in the German mission. Dr was one of the speakers. Dr had with Junior opperated on his mother Mattio R Reed in his absence. Removed a large part of her stomach. She recovered and is enjoying good health at present. This evening we attended Rev. J. I. Carvers Church Prof Marcelle of the U.U. talked on earthquakes and the recent one at Long Beach at Cal. Listened to a wonderful programme from New York. Opening prog for the Catholic Holey year which comes every 25 year. Monday, April 3, 1933. Have had a buisy day preparing to go to Salt Lake city in the morning to Relief Society Conference. Retire late. |
